Please note that experiences that require preparation and trips on the Jose Cuervo Express® always require advance ticket purchase. See each experience for more details.
5. CAN I TAKE PHOTOS?
When visiting our La Rojeña® distillery, visitors are not allowed to take photographs inside the factory for safety. There is no problem with taking photos in the outdoor areas.

If you are on medication or have a condition that requires special attention, please inform our staff so that the distillery’s doctor is available to assist you.

Cuervo® is the surname of the family who founded the business dynasty. The first barrels used for commercial distribution were branded with the image of a crow (“cuervo” in Spanish), which is considered its first use as a trademark.

The Tequila Route shows visitors the rich cultural heritage of the region. Archaeological sites, old haciendas and taverns, modern distilleries, opal and obsidian mines, canyons and mountains, as well as the living culture of the charro, mariachi, and trades associated with tequila, such as the jimador - the agave farmer. For centuries man and nature have shaped the agave landscape, which is now recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
The Tequila Route surrounds the volcano and runs through the municipalities of El Arenal, Amatitán, Tequila, Magdalena, Teuchitlán, Etzatlán, Ahualulco and San Juanito.
Mundo Cuervo® and Jose Cuervo Express® are part of the Tequila Route, which began as a sustainable tourism project funded by the Multilateral Investment Fund of the Inter-American Development Bank, and by the Jose Cuervo Foundation.
